6 key leadership lessons from Erik Ten Hag! Love them or loathe them, Manchester United have seen a vast improvement in team performance this season.
Whilst many say form is temporary, there is no denying the massive impact Erik Ten Hag the new manager and his team have had on the players.
The last few years has shown how important a strong manager is with vision, people skills and understanding can help make or break football teams.
Erik Ten Hag appears to be making some fantastic decisions whilst also having a big positive influence on the way the team are working together and producing wins.
So 6 key leadership lessons I have learnt from Ten Hag this season are;
1) Passion - influencing passion and meaning to the players
2) Strong leadership & leading by example
3) No one is bigger than the team
4) Discipline
5) Flexibility to change
6) Praise in public, manage in private
What other key leadership skills have you taken from others?
ps in case you hadn't realised, I am a massive United fan! I promise if Football or United isn't for you, I will be back to less polarising subjects next week!

6 reasons your New Year resolutions won't work & what to do instead!

Statistically only about 16% of new years resolutions last longer than 4-5 weeks and the reason for this is people tend to set particularly difficult or challenging targets. In this podcast I discuss why this doesn't work and how you can help yourself by properly setting intentions and goals.
New Years resolutions tend not to work because;
-lack of accountability
-lack of tracking
-lack of planning
-self doubt
-lack of clarity
-unrealistic expectations
