Sam is the Founder and Director of Orchard Safety Ltd, having been a safety professional since not long after graduation. Sam has held several high profile safety roles before starting his consultancy.

6 Principles of Time Management RUSHCast, recorded as a lunchtime LIVE recently, check in on Pete giving a quick run through of 6 key principles of time management.
The principles Pete explains in this podcast are;
Carlson’s Law – uninterrupted work is more efficient and improves 'flow'.
Pareto’s Law – 80% of your results come from 20% of your effort, the effect of the vital few & trivial many.
Parkinsons Law – time=availability and work increases to fill a vacuum.
Murphy’s Law – what can go wrong, will go wrong…….
Illich’s Law – circadian rhythm – energy fluctuates through the day, know yourself, your strengths and weaknesses and adjust your day accordingly.
Fraisse’s Law – time is subjective, when you are in flow, time passes quickest. People spend time on what they enjoy most and put off what they enjoy least.
